Spring has sprung, friends! What fun we have had the last couple of weeks, both work and play. Two weeks ago, the team and I popped up in Dallas for a few days at a store we adore, Market Highland Park Village. If you haven't spent time in Highland Park Village, let me just tell you - it is lovely. The ladies at Market were the best hosts, and we had so much fun together. As a special treat, we embossed our new travel pouches with customers' monograms and it was a huge hit. We threw a block party with our friends from La Ligne (right next door to Market) and they customized their totes with the signature JW quatrefoil, obsessed! The trunk show was a huge success - THANK YOU to our wonderful Dallas customers who came out to shop with us. We adore you.
Last week, we hosted one of my very favorite dress brands, Cara Cara, in our studio for a trunk show. The night before the trunk show, the Cara Cara girls and I hosted a fabulous dinner with so many incredible women. I left feeling empowered and grateful. Our Main Line and Philly customers completely blew me with their support of our spring showroom open house and Cara Cara trunk show. I kept looking around with such pride on our hometown. Next week, we are delighted (that’s an understatement) to launch an exclusive collection with another hometown favorite Kirna Zabete. Just for a little background… When Beth (KZ's Founder) launched Kirna Zabete in New York City I was working at Barneys New York and it was the talk of the town. Beth has the most exquisite fashion sense and is famous for presenting her ‘edit’ from the worlds most unique brands. When we started discussing an exclusive collection for them, honestly I had to pinch myself 10 times. Working with her is an honor. When I think about going from a kid in my 20s admiring this fabulous female entrepreneur opening a store that the fashion world flocked to…to being a founder myself creating an exclusive collection for one of my idols?!? It’s a moment worth celebrating. So celebrate we WILL!
